The Opportunity:
Working in partnership with our client, Techforce Personnel are seeking a Dispatch Planner to join their team in the Gold Coast. This is a 4 month contract initially beginning ASAP.  This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong planning background and experience in traffic management who is looking to contribute to a well-established and growing team, with a possibility of extension beyond the initial contract period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish, maintain, and improve maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Optimize scheduling to reduce travel time and increase productivity.
• Dispatch work orders efficiently to ensure the field workforce remains productive.
• Manage workflow queues to ensure KPI compliance.
• Monitor work in the field and proactively address scheduling challenges.
• Liaise with stakeholders for advanced scheduling and resource allocation.
• Coordinate delivery of customer notifications.
• Maintain accurate records, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure smooth operations.
• Escalate customer issues to the Planning Manager and relevant supervisors when required

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a planning and dispatch role within a high-volume environment.
• Traffic management experience is a must.
• Proficiency in SAP for work order and resource management.
• Advanced Excel skills to manage data efficiently.
• Knowledge of maintenance activities in the water industry(preferred).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to ensure operational efficiency.
• Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
