About the Role

Techforce is seeking an experienced Mechanical Surveyor to support a major construction project. This role is crucial in ensuring the precision and accuracy of mechanical installations, including hold down bolt set-outs, as-built confirmations, verticality checks, and RL confirmations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct hold down bolt set-outs and verify as-built measurements
• Perform verticality checks to ensure structural alignment
• Complete Reduced Level (RL) confirmations for accurate elevation positioning
• Ensure survey data meets project specifications and quality standards
• Collaborate with site engineers and construction teams to resolve discrepancies

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Surveyor in construction, mining, or heavy industry
• Strong understanding of mechanical survey techniques and relevant instruments
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and site plans
• High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively on-site

• FIFO roster (15:6) – work hard, then enjoy quality time off
