The Opportunity:
Working in partnership with our client, Techforce Personnel are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead its commercial and contractual function for our client in WA. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations for haulage and mining projects
  • Review and analyse tender documents for contractual risks and obligations.
  • Negotiate commercial terms with clients and vendors.
  • Maintain commercial clarifications registers and develop contract checklists.
  • Develop subcontractor terms and conditions aligned with head contracts.
  • Prepare commercial risk and opportunity worksheets for tender submissions.
  • Liaise with insurance brokers to meet contractual insurance requirements
  • Maintain and enhance contract management systems and processes.
  • Support project teams with contract compliance, variations, and extensions of time.
  • Provide strategic guidance on complex claims, disputes, and contractual negotiations.
  • Review subcontracts, supply agreements, and consultancy contracts.
  • Monitor financial status of projects and ensure consistency in job costing and forecasting.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 7+ years' experience in contract or commercial management roles.
  • Proven experience with head contract negotiation and subcontract administration.
  • Strong understanding of Australian contract law and relevant insurances.
  • Experience mentoring project and commercial teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to balance competing priorities.
